The most familiar series of BMW cars for chinese people are definitely 3,5and 7 series.

The BMW 1 Series shares many of the engineering and structural features of the larger 3 series cars. The cars have gradually gone up the market, with 5 door hatchbacks, 3 door versions, sporting cars and sedans. Both the 1 series coupe and the 3 series convertibles have been successful in the USA. The majority of later models of BMW offer satellite radio, optional navigation system and a remote engine start.

The BMW 3 series which first started in 1975 are also classic cars and have the same features seen in the 1 series. Over the years, BMW has downsized its cars and the new 5 series is more compact and has a 7 speed sequential manual gearbox. Asides from its use by consumers, the car has been a hit at the racing tracks winning close to 19 grand prix over the years.

Quite possible the most visible line or series of BMW vehicles is the (i coup), with one of their most popular being the BMW 135i, currently priced in the area of $35,000. For over two now decades owning and driving a BMW from the i coup series has been one of the best ways for a young professional living in the US, Canada or Europe to announce to the world that they have finally achieved a measurable degree of success in their chosen occupation.
