The earth is our home
Posted on September 17th, 2009 No commentsThe earth is our home. We must take care of it, for ourselves and for the next generation. This means preserving the quality of our environment.
Consume, consume, consume! Our society is consumer oriented—dangerously so. To keep the wheels of industry turning, we manufacture consumer goods in endless quantities, and in the process, are rapidly exhausting ournatural resources. But this is only half the problem. What do we do with manufactured products when they are worn out? They must be disposed of, but how and where? Unsightly junkyards full of rusting automobiles already surround every city in the nation. American s throw away 80 billion bottles and cans each year, enough to build more than ten stacks to the moon. There isn’t room for much more waste, and yet the factories grind on. They can’t stop because everyone wants a job. Our manufactured products in ever-increasing amounts. Man, about to be buried in his own waste,is caught in a vicious cycle.
It wasn’t always like this. Only 100 years ago, man lived in harmony with nature.
There weren’t so many people then and their wants were fewer. Whatever wastes were produced could be absorbed by nature and were soon covered over. Today this harmonious relationship is threatened by man’s lack of foresight and planning, and by his carelessness and greed. For man is slowly poisoning his environment.
Polution is a “dirty” word. To pollute means to contaminate—to spoil something by introducing impurities which make it unfit or unclean to use. Pollution comes in many forms. We see it, smell it, taste it, drink it, and stumble through it. We literally live in and breathe pollution, and not surpuisingly, it is beginning to threaten our health, our happiness, and our very civilization.

Happiness
Posted on September 17th, 2009 No commentsEven in the poor time people can still feel happy deeply. As I always remember that I had a bowl of hot rice with a spoon of lard and soy sauce, sat at the stone inscription out of the door and tasted the delicious odour of the rice with lard, which every granule of the rice was giving out the sweet smell of happiness.
Happiness of life doesn’t lie in one’s environment or status or substaince that one enjoys, but lies in how one’s soul corresponds with life. Therefore happiness is not decided by external stuff, the poor have the poor’s happiness while the rich have the rich’s happiness; the situated people have their happiness while the
petty people also have their own happiness. In life, everyone has laughters as well as tears, everyone has both happiness and trouble, and that is the truth of life in the world.
When love irradiates our cold hearts like bright sunshine we will realize that love itself is a sound of trembled chord, a kind of dispersion of potpourri, which is lasting, warm and passes from one person to another. These are warms drifting from deep spirits of ones who give love, they wake up the tired footprints and cold hearts in the spirit world, and then those who receive love will use the warms to irradiate another heart, though sometimes ther’re so week.
If you are only a drop of water, but you refract the colorful sunlight which let children see the most beautiful colors in the world. See, you are so important to children. No matter how pretty or small you are, you can still write the fairy tales of life as well as create miracles in your own field. Maybe, it is because of you that it adds a color to the world.

After a confrontation with Sharpay, Kelsi Nielsen (Olesya Rulin), the composer of the musical, trips and drops her notes and piano music. Troy and Gabriella rush to help her, and she offers to let them hear how the song was originally supposed to sound. Troy and Gabriella then sing the slower version of the song (”What I’ve Been Looking For (Reprise)”). Ms. Darbus hears them from behind the auditorium entrance and gives both Troy and Gabriella a callback. The next day, Sharpay sees the callback sheet and is furious. Once Chad and all the basketball players find out that Troy skipped basketball practice to audition for the musical, they are all shocked.
At lunch, everyone learns that Troy is doing something way out of a basketball player’s nature, and the students start confessing their secret passions and talents (”Stick To The Status Quo”), including basketball player Zeke Baylor’s (Chris Warren, Jr.) love for baking. At that moment, Gabriella slips and accidentally spills her lunch all over Sharpay’s shirt. Sharpay tells Ms. Darbus that Gabriella did it on purpose and tries to convince her that Troy and Gabriella are trying to destroy the musical, but Ms. Darbus will not hear a word of it. Troy asks Gabriella to meet him at his secret hideout, the roof of the school, which also serves as a greenhouse. There, she reveals that singing with him at the party was like meeting a new friend at kindergarten; she felt that he was like a best friend, although she hardly knew him. Meanwhile, Zeke attempts to talk to Sharpay, who says that she would rather stick pins in her eyes than watch Zeke play basketball.

Movie: 17 Again-2

With Ned posing as his father, Mike enrolls at Hayden High as “Mark Gold”. He believes he has been given the chance to live his life over again, “but to do it right”. Then he discovers that Maggie is dating the basketball captain Stan (Hunter Parrish), who is bullying Alex. He realizes that his real mission is to help his children, and makes friends with both Alex and Maggie. With Mark’s help, Alex gets a place on the basketball team and the girlfriend he desires. “Mark” comforts Maggie when she is dumped by Stan, who was pressuring her for sex. “Mark” also meets Scarlet. He helps her decorate her garden, gaining a new appreciation for her, and dances with her before she goes on a date (to the song that he and Scarlet danced to at their wedding). “Mark” and Scarlet clearly feel a connection as they danced, and are about to kiss, until Alex walks in on them. At first Scarlet seemed uncaring that her son is right there, but then she feels embarrassed and tells “Mark” that she is Alex’s mother and that this is inappropriate.
Meanwhile, Ned is attracted to the principal of Hayden High, Jane Masterson (Melora Hardin). Although his initial attempts to ‘peacock’ her fail, they soon bond over a love of The Lord of The Rings. However, when he takes her back to his house, they discover an out-of-control party raging there. To celebrate Alex scoring the winning basket in a game, “Mark” is throwing a victory party. Scarlet appears, looking for Alex, and Mike tells her that Alex could have a girlfriend by the end of the party and brings her up to the balcony to show her. As they are talking, Mike’s feelings for her are reawakened, (especially after she tells him “he’s really become a part of the family). But when he kisses her, she is appalled, and slaps him and calls him a “weirdo little man child” even though he chases after her and tries to tell her that he is Mike. This exchange is witnessed by Maggie and her friends, who are all disgusted, especially since Maggie has become smitten with “Mark”.

Posted on September 1st, 2009 No comments
Ferrari S.P.A. is an Italian sports car manufacturer based in Maranello, Italy. Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1928 as Scuderia Ferrari, the company sponsored drivers and manufactured race cars before moving into production of street-legal vehicles in 1947 as Ferrari S.P.A.. Throughout its history, the company has been noted for its continued participation in racing, especially in Formula One, where it has enjoyed great success.
After months of speculation and spy shots, Maranello has finally revealed the mid-engined V8 replacement for the Ferrari F430. The all-new Ferrari 458 Italia won’t be shown in public until September’s Frankfurt Motor Show, but the official details were released early this morning. A new direct-injected 4.5-liter V8 ups the ante underhood, pumping out 562 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. The redline? A screaming 9,000 rpm. Eighty percent of the F458 Italia’s torque is now available at a low 3,250 rpm, thanks in all likelihood to the new engine’s 12.5:1 compression ratio.

Posted on May 22nd, 2009 1 commentThe most familiar series of BMW cars for chinese people are definitely 3,5and 7 series.
The BMW 1 Series shares many of the engineering and structural features of the larger 3 series cars. The cars have gradually gone up the market, with 5 door hatchbacks, 3 door versions, sporting cars and sedans. Both the 1 series coupe and the 3 series convertibles have been successful in the USA. The majority of later models of BMW offer satellite radio, optional navigation system and a remote engine start.
The BMW 3 series which first started in 1975 are also classic cars and have the same features seen in the 1 series. Over the years, BMW has downsized its cars and the new 5 series is more compact and has a 7 speed sequential manual gearbox. Asides from its use by consumers, the car has been a hit at the racing tracks winning close to 19 grand prix over the years.
