  • Basic Shoes For Women

Posted on July 7th, 2009 Fashionlife No comments

How many kind of shoes should a woman have? Have you ever considered about this question? No matter what is your preference? Below is the basic for each woman(of course, if you want to be a true woman)

No 1 is Every Day Shoes. Women’s shoes range from stilettos to skimmers, to go with a range of outfits. But your every day shoe should be versatile enough to go with almost everything you wear on a daily basis. If you’re a stay-at-home mom, maybe a cute pair of tennis shoes will go with your shorts and jeans. If you work in a business-casual environment, a pair of comfortable loafer pumps might work with skirts and slacks.  Don’t rule out an every day pair of slingbacks or mules either.

No 2 is Low-Heeled Black Pump.  When it comes to women’s shoes, you’ll always need a low-heeled black pump.  It will work in the office.  It will work with a dress or a suit.  Whether it’s a date or a business meeting, this shoe will almost always be appropriate. If you need a little more stability in the heel, a tapered version is perfect to round out women’s shoe wardrobes.

No 3 is Sneakers. Sporty woman is always the most beautiful. You’ll need them for the gym. You’ll need them to walk the dog. You’ll need them for housework. When it comes to women’s shoes, sneakers are the place to invest.

No 4 is a pair of sexy tall boots, made to protect your feet from the weather, and a nice alternative when you’d like to wear athletic socks and a skirt, tall boots are a staple of women’s shoes, and should have a place in your wardrobe.  If you have wide calves, don’t worry, they make tall boots for you too.

Hey, do you own all of the above? I believe most can meet this requirement.

  • Men’s Sandals in Trends

Posted on June 16th, 2009 Fashionlife No comments

May be there are still some people think men are disinterested in shopping as they don’t want to waste time on such things. They would like to make quick designs. This was a great way for sellers to use their quick decision behavior and catch their attention to buy men’s sandals. But, something changed. As I known, the 80’s young guys are spending more time in stores than their olders. They want to pick what is best for them. They used to ask for most practical sandals, but now they seek for men’s sandals that will improve their appearance. Since now is the perfect time to wear sandals, there are more men looking for one pair that will caught their attention.

Thong sandals are the latest trend since they are easy to wear and provide comfort to the feet. They are a bit more safer then slip ons since they are harder to drop of the feet. The thong is really helpful and keeps the sandals in the right place. The slip on sandals made their way up front because of their simplicity and comfortability. There is no need to think about them even for the slightest second - just slip them on and go for a walk. You got plenty of air and you don’t have anything bothering you, like laces or straps. The best mens sandals for relaxation.

Your fairy tale wedding day is here! Make sure you’re wearing comfortable bridal shoes or guaranteed your feet won’t be smiling, no matter how much grinning your face is doing.

The balls of the feet tend to suffer the worst, especially in high heels. Gel pads will provide extra cushioning for the balls of your feet.

Think about your wedding colors and consider one of those options.  Many brides are now having their wedding shoes match the bridesmaid dresses.  This provides great contrast in wedding pictures since the shoes stand out a little bit and allow the bride to match their bridesmaids in a subtle, but fun way.  When choosing which color, also look at the colors of the flower.  A fun way to have a bright colored shoe is to match them to bouquet or bridesmaid bouquet flowers.

Wearing flat wedding shoes is also a good choice. Whatever your reason, there is going to be a pair of flat shoes that is perfect for your wedding. In most cases brides prefer to go with a bridal shoe in a fabric that matches the white or ivory of her gown; there is not rule, though, that you can’t be more playful with your wedding shoes. This is especially true if you are wearing a very full skirted gown, since your guests will really only be getting a glimpse of the shoes anyway. Go ahead and choose a flat in an elegant silver or gold silk, or really be bold and wear a bright red silk shoe

To avoid those new shoes blisters that can ruin your day add extra cushions or padding inside your shoes at the back of your heel or where thin straps might cross over your feet. Extra padding will ensure that the comfortable bridal shoes you bought for your wedding day stay comfortable for the whole day.

Take luxury to a new level with carefully chosen wedding shoes that reflect your personality and style on your big day. For many women, designer wedding footwear was once an unattainable prospect after the event expenses were tallied. Between flowers, food and music alone, plenty of brides felt unable to indulge their sense of fashion in footwear. Times have changed and many retailers offer designer shoe fashions at an affordable price.

Foot Petals, Killer Kushionz, Aero Insoles and Dr. Scholls’ are just a few of the brands of shoe cushions that will keep your feet comfortable and prevent slips and rubbing that can cause some pretty painful blisters. You don’t want to have to deal with that on the biggest day of your life.

With bold face names like Stuart Weitzman and Kate Spade, brides are flocking to these luxurious pieces of wearable art to make an unforgettable splash as they glide down the aisle. With three heel heights to choose from and numerous style in stock, wedding footwear can be easy to shop for.

It may also be a good idea to make sure you really do have comfortable bridal shoes by wearing them around for a few hours then checking for any sore areas on your heels or where thin straps may be rubbing on the sides of your feet. It’s better to be prepared ahead of time than to have sore and miserable feet when you should be up dancing.

With so much time spent dancing, mingling and celebrating, a bride’s feet certainly get a strenuous workout through the course of the evening. Why shouldn’t your footwear get equal amounts of attention after all that effort? Looking back on framed photographs of the occasion, you’ll see that devoting some time and effort to purchasing quality wedding shoes is a wise investment in your future.
