The third Spring/Summer 2010 Runway show is from Chanel’s Cruise Collection.I bet most of us still remember 2009’s strikingly beautiful runway shows I’ve ever seen, from the Venice Lido boardwalk setting to the 1920s throwback clothes. That show began at sunset, and I’ve never found myself wanting to attend any fashion show so much in my entire life. After that, all of us takes more expectaion for 2010, we wish we can see more striking things in Chanel’s 2010 runway show.

Wow,Chanel’s Cruise 2010 runway show just took place at Venice and now the ad campaign has surfaced. The photos were shot by Karl Lagerfeld featuring models Karen Elson and Baptiste Giabiconi in a dark antique hotel room with rich red curtains and bedsheets like his collection which was inspired by the Renaissance. The mood and the atmosphere seems right for the collection.

Venice has a genuine dark and mysterious side to it that fascinated me. I really like the Italian spirit and the Venetian lifestyle,” said Lagerfeld. “And let’s not forget that Coco Chanel came back to Venice for 10 years.” Lagerfeld broadens Mademoiselle’s vision, revisiting the diverse influences that have marked La Serenissima. Lagerfeld’s collection recalls Visconti’s stylised films and Venice’s sparkling society of the 1930s. Fabrics were inspired by the rich Venetian reds of the Renaissance, Fortuny’s prints, and the chiaroscuro technique of the great Italian masters.

In this collection, Karl Lagerfeld takes us on a journey against the background of the sunset over the Adriatic Sea. I’m absolutely in love with this collection, and I think this time it is striking enough.

  • Beat Poet “Form Zero”

200906241-1The second Spring/Summer 2010 Runway we present is Beat Poet’s men cloths.Beat Poet is an Australian brand, not well know. From their self-described “cold, reductionist” clothing, to their fascination with decadent subculture, designers Ed von Bertouch and James St. Johnson have a strong vision that is often different from the rest of the fashion world. This unique vision bring us much more interests and innovation. Rather than the conventional seasonal presentations, the label produces one show per year, divided into two parts, beginning with the spring/summer line and ending with autumn/winter. This summer, it presented its 2010 presentation at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week with a special way, a path on the floor illuminated from above, guiding models as they walked out from behind a wall of LED lights and a lone glowing ring.

The collection, entitled “Form Zero” intended to trace the sartorial “zero of form,” a mathematical term alluding to the designers’ geometric approach to the shape and silhouette of each piece. The clothing itself, set against a rock and electro soundtrack, was sharp and comprehensive, ranging from sheer shirts to heavily-contsructed vests, and even a few appearances from drop-crotch harem pants.

  • Top Three Trends in 2009 Fall

Posted on June 22nd, 2009 Fashionlife No comments

    200906222-1efbc91

Here we conclude the top three fashion trends in 2009 Fall for your information.

The first would be Velvet for adults. Believe us it will be grow up this fall. It’s no longer a little-girl fabric, nor prissy and prim. Instead, you’ll wear sophisticated looks that are classic, soft, and feminine with a hint of toughness. The evening fabric showed up in bright colors at Marc Jacobs, looking burnt-out at Proenza, and etched at Prada, looking sexy and very trendy.

The second would be sexy thigh-high boot for disco dance. If there’s one thing shoe designers want you to buy this fall, that will be a sexy thigh-high boot. Every designer has a pair, and demure they are not. Prada makes country waders a bit more chic, while Rodarte goes for an otherworldly look in wrapped taupe leather. Isabel Marant’s boots are simple and cool, in black suede — the perfect pair to wear with anything.

The third would be these shiny, sparkly minidresses. The eighties revival isn’t complete without these shiny, sparkly minidresses. Balmain’s over-the-top version came in electric blue, while Nina Ricci kept it on the delicate side. Versace went back to its roots: bright mermaids. Cue “Gloria” on your iPods and relive a dancing decade. We’re loving DVF at beautcall. She really gets what women are after: intelligence and empowered sexuality. I am definitely for the mini dresses this fall. Actually this new designer S.LOVE that makes great dresses for the Fall.

  • Marc Jacobs’s New Back-to-School Capsule Collection

    200906212-1

It is reported recently that Marc Jacobs has designed a back-to-school capsule collection for young girls. The collection is called “Don’t Miss the Marc.”  And everything is under $200 and the collection is colorful and kitschy with floral, graphic and animal prints on leggings, denim skirts, tees and scarves.

The line consists of stretchy denim jeans (a cute “M” embellishes the back pockets), little denim skirts in gray and blue, soft jersey blazers in red and black, and an assortment of leggings, scarves, and T-shirts in an array of adorable prints. Our favorite is the Wildflower print, an animal motif that comes in a classic brown leopard and a bright, cheery purple that looks great covering a tee.

We all love the Marc Jacobs very much, not only because he’s a fashion genius with a tongue-in-cheek approach and penchant for retro when it comes to designing his Marc by Marc Jacobs line, but because he understands that we all have to check price tags in these special times.

The limited edition collection will be available in stores and online starting August 1, just in time to plan what to wear on the first day of school.

Popular, how much are people actually searching for the keyword and competition, how difficult will it be to rank well for the keyword. Even if your gut is right about the keyword’s popularity, if the keyword competition is too high, your site won’t rank well for it, at least not for a while and you won’t get any traffic. So, it’s essential to do keyword research before you start optimizing your website.

Aside from the indisputable aesthetics of the Neverfull, our favorite functional feature is the adjustable side straps that come standard on all variations. With a simple tweak of the straps, you can easily customize the width of the interior space. Whether you’re traveling light or packing in everything but the kitchen sink, you’ll always have just the right amount of room.

The goal is to optimize your website for the most popular keywords that you can compete for and it’s not always easy to pick keywords. Just because you think a keyword should be popular, doesn’t mean it is. In fact, I’ve found that most people’s gut feeling about keywords is wrong.
