Dalhousie University

Dalhousie University is a research universitiy in Canada, on the university rankings of the famous magazine Maclean’s Magazine, it located before 14 of the research universities. There are a total of 10 faculties, namely the School of Architecture and Planning, Humanities and Social Sciences, Computer Science, Dentistry, Engineering, Health Sciences University, School of Law, School of Management, Medicine, Faculty of Science. There are also graduate school, the principal subsidiary bodies oceanographic research institute, the Canadian Maritime Research Center, foreign policy research center.

Dalhousie University in Public Administration is very well-known, in 1937 granted Canada’s first public administration degree. University, Halifax, where the city is the capital of Nova Scotia, but also a lot of the seat of the federal government of Canada-Atlantic region and have at all levels of local government. College and senior officials from these government departments have a good relationship. Government of Canada and Nova School of Kashagan is an important partner of the provincial government.   Dalhousie University School of Law is very famous and train a large number of companies active in Canada’s laws and politicians. To adapt to the changing needs of the University, the Joint School of Law, School of Management, Computer Science postgraduate courses together provide e-commerce, the focus of attention. With the Nova Scotia high seas oil industry boom, Dalhousie University established Atlantic Petroleum Institute in 1999.

Dalhousie University has a number of outstanding people, including two Canadian Prime Minister, Canada’s first female High Court judge, the world’s first woman astronaut, the world Internet founder and many state governors and so on.
