  • The greatest capital of life is the character

Posted on September 22nd, 2009 Fashionlife No comments

It was a winter night 30 years ago, a wife of a businessman in Washington, accidentally left a bag in a hospital. The businessman was very anxious and he looked for it the same night. Because in the bag there was not only 10 million dollars, but also very confidential market information.

When the merchant arrived at that hospital, he saw a frozen thin girl crouched against the wall, what she gripped was exactly the bag his wife lost.

Originally, this called Xi Yada girl came to the hospital to accompany her mother who was seriously ill. They were so poor that they sold everything in their home. If they could get enough money they would be driven out. Xi Yada didn’t know what to do so she wandered in the corridor, hoping that someone could save her mother. Suddenly, a woman left her bag when she went by. She walked so fast that Xi Yada couldn’t catch up with her.

Xi Yada went back to the sickroom. When she opened the bag, she and her mother were surprised by the large amount of money. At that moment, they all knew that these money could save mother’s life. However, mother asked Xi Yada to put the bag back to the corridor and waited the owner to get it back. Monter said that they couldn’t take other’s money.

Althouth the businessman tried his best, Xi Yada’s monther still passed away. She and her mother not only helped the businessman retrieve a loss of 10 million dollars, but also the imformation which made his business developed quickly and he soon became a richman.

Xi Yada who was adopted by the richman helped him with business after graduating from college. The richman didn’t send her in charge of anything, but she was deeply influenced by his wisdom and experiences in the long practice, which made her a mature businesswoman. When the richman was old, he would ask Xi Yada for advice.

When the richman was dying, he left a surprising testament: I was quite rich before I met Xi Yada and her mother. However, when I stood in front of them who didn’t take huge amount of money even they really needed it. Then I found that they were the richest people, because they obeyed the highest standard of life, which I lacked as a businessman. It was they that made me realize that the greatest capital of life was the character.

I adopted Xi Yada not to thank them, not to show sympathy, neither, but to invite a example of life. With her by my side, I would remember what I should do and what shouldn’t all the time. This was the basic reason why my business developed.

After I die, all of my possessions are given to Xi Yada, this is not a present, but to make my career more porsperous.

I believe that my clever son will understand his father.

When the richman’s son returned and read his father’s testament carefully, he signed on the agreement without any hesitation: I agree Xi Yada to inherit all my father’s possessions. I just hope that Xi Yada  can be my wife.

Xi Yada read the son’s sign, thought for a while and signed: I accept all the possessions from father, including his son.

  • Take good care of my eyes

There is a blind boy who has nothing but a girl who loves him very much. The girl takes care of the boy attentively and satisfactorily. He says to her, “If one day my eyes see again, then I’ll marry you, and take care of you forever…”

Opportunity comes. Someone is willing to donate his eyes to the boy and finally the boy is able to see again. He goes to look for his girl whom he thinks every day and night. However, the girl he finds is also blind. She asks him, “ Will you marry me?” The boy lowers his head and dosen’t say anything. The girl smiles and touches his eyes, then she says, “ Please take good care of my eyes.” After that she just turns around and walks away.

Actually promise is built up based on the value. When the value is gone, there is no promise naturally. Do you really love him or her? Think about how many you have done to you promises.
