Etro Spring/Summer 2010 Men Cloth Collection
Posted on June 29th, 2009 No commentsWhat this collection bring to us is absolutely eye-fresh. I’m not sure if you are open enough yo accept this bold design. Some of my friends said “It’s hard to get excited about Etro, because you pretty much know what you’re going to see in every collection: crazy patterns, ridiculous colors, etc.”
See all the clothes can be called “vibrant”. The design chose extreme colours as the theme of Etro’s spring/summer collection for next year, dominated by their favourite design element: print. With obvious consideration for the summer season, Etro’s pieces feature loud, brash colour tones being incorporated into their array of outerwear and accessories, with a sprinkling of impeccable elegance thrown in, and the prints include madras, flowers, and paisley. From salmon pinks to cornflower blues to paisley printed summer trench coats, these aren’t clothes for the shy and retiring. But in a city where fashion can take itself too seriously, Etro is all about pure enjoyment.
In addition to their taste for colour, the brand’s collection is also very open about detail, including bowties and multi-coloured handkerchiefs to the garments.Whatever you call it weird or creative, I believe it will be successful.

Pop Star Michael Jackson
Posted on June 26th, 2009 No commentsEarly this morning, when I opened my computer, it was all the news about Michael Jackson. He died.Michael Jackson, one of the most widely beloved pop star and profoundly influential artists of all-time, leaves an indelible imprint on popular music and culture.
Commenting on his passing, Sir Howard Stringer, Chairman, CEO and President, Sony Corporation, said: “Michael Jackson was a brilliant troubadour for his generation, a genius whose music reflected the passion and creativity of an era. His artistry and magnetism changed the music landscape forever. We have been profoundly affected by his originality, creativity and amazing body of work. The entire Sony family extends our deepest condolences to his family and to the millions of fans around the world who loved him.”
Michael Jackson was an extrodinary person. He gave the world exactly what we needed and that is LOVE, the greatist gift of all.
Most of our 80’s generation grew up idolizing Michael. Fans grieve wordwide. One of my friend said she fellt as if she have lost my best friend, because of the beautiful legacy he has now left behind.Michael Jackson started in the music business at the age of 11 with his brothers as a member of the Jackson 5. In the early 1980s, he defined the art form of music video with such ground-breaking videos as “Billie Jean,” “Beat It” and the epic “Thriller.” Jackson’s sound, style and dance moves inspired subsequent generations of pop, soul, R&B and hip-hop artists.Five of Jackson’s solo albums – “Off the Wall,” “Thriller,” “Bad,” “Dangerous” and “HIStory,” all with Epic Records, a Sony Music label – are among the top-sellers of all time. During his extraordinary career, he sold an estimated 750 million records worldwide, released 13 No.1 singles and became one of a handful of artists to be inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
He is the most successful Entertainer I ever saw. He was charismatic, with a devilish like charm, to stand in his presence was to feel the heat of the raging morning sun. Let’s bless for his family.

Chanel’s Cruise Spring/Summer 2010 runway show
Posted on June 24th, 2009 No comments

The third Spring/Summer 2010 Runway show is from Chanel’s Cruise Collection.I bet most of us still remember 2009’s strikingly beautiful runway shows I’ve ever seen, from the Venice Lido boardwalk setting to the 1920s throwback clothes. That show began at sunset, and I’ve never found myself wanting to attend any fashion show so much in my entire life. After that, all of us takes more expectaion for 2010, we wish we can see more striking things in Chanel’s 2010 runway show.
Wow,Chanel’s Cruise 2010 runway show just took place at Venice and now the ad campaign has surfaced. The photos were shot by Karl Lagerfeld featuring models Karen Elson and Baptiste Giabiconi in a dark antique hotel room with rich red curtains and bedsheets like his collection which was inspired by the Renaissance. The mood and the atmosphere seems right for the collection.
“Venice has a genuine dark and mysterious side to it that fascinated me. I really like the Italian spirit and the Venetian lifestyle,” said Lagerfeld. “And let’s not forget that Coco Chanel came back to Venice for 10 years.” Lagerfeld broadens Mademoiselle’s vision, revisiting the diverse influences that have marked La Serenissima. Lagerfeld’s collection recalls Visconti’s stylised films and Venice’s sparkling society of the 1930s. Fabrics were inspired by the rich Venetian reds of the Renaissance, Fortuny’s prints, and the chiaroscuro technique of the great Italian masters.
In this collection, Karl Lagerfeld takes us on a journey against the background of the sunset over the Adriatic Sea. I’m absolutely in love with this collection, and I think this time it is striking enough.

Beat Poet “Form Zero”
Posted on June 23rd, 2009 No comments
The second Spring/Summer 2010 Runway we present is Beat Poet’s men cloths.Beat Poet is an Australian brand, not well know. From their self-described “cold, reductionist” clothing, to their fascination with decadent subculture, designers Ed von Bertouch and James St. Johnson have a strong vision that is often different from the rest of the fashion world. This unique vision bring us much more interests and innovation. Rather than the conventional seasonal presentations, the label produces one show per year, divided into two parts, beginning with the spring/summer line and ending with autumn/winter. This summer, it presented its 2010 presentation at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week with a special way, a path on the floor illuminated from above, guiding models as they walked out from behind a wall of LED lights and a lone glowing ring. The collection, entitled “Form Zero” intended to trace the sartorial “zero of form,” a mathematical term alluding to the designers’ geometric approach to the shape and silhouette of each piece. The clothing itself, set against a rock and electro soundtrack, was sharp and comprehensive, ranging from sheer shirts to heavily-contsructed vests, and even a few appearances from drop-crotch harem pants.

Gucci’s men’s Spring/Summer 2010 Runway
Posted on June 23rd, 2009 1 comment
This month, we can watch most of the brands’ Spring/Summer 2010 Runway, if you want to catch up the new trend in the coming year, just come up with us.Here the first Spring/Summer 2010 Collection we put it to the world most well noted fashion brand Gucci. What this time Gucci’s Design Director Frida Giannini bring to us? For the most part. Yes, Gucci’s men’s Spring/Summer 2010 runway includes all the white tailored pieces and slip-on shoes that we’ve come to expect from their men’s Spring/Summer season, but if previous years have been stand-out for their Euro-Bohemian motifs this coming year comes in stark contrast.
The collection get out of the previous motifs from South America and comprises of bold knits featuring quasi-Aztec prints. Giannini has herself cited the work of architect Oscar Niemeyer as the inspiration for the collection. Niemeyer, a modernist architect, has designed many notable buildings in Brazil. So we say folklore inspirations abound in this latest collection, but whether they’ll impress us as much as that of previous years is yet to be seen.
I love this playful pattern shirt. It’s like tanagram pieces strewn over a gorgeous piece of cotton. The loafers in white with silver horesbit detail will be a staple come next spring.
The casual jacket with nylon details on the left is perfect for chilly spring days, whereas the very light pair of shorts looks like a match to beach heaven. -
Top Three Trends in 2009 Fall
Posted on June 22nd, 2009 No comments
Here we conclude the top three fashion trends in 2009 Fall for your information.
The first would be Velvet for adults. Believe us it will be grow up this fall. It’s no longer a little-girl fabric, nor prissy and prim. Instead, you’ll wear sophisticated looks that are classic, soft, and feminine with a hint of toughness. The evening fabric showed up in bright colors at Marc Jacobs, looking burnt-out at Proenza, and etched at Prada, looking sexy and very trendy.
The second would be sexy thigh-high boot for disco dance. If there’s one thing shoe designers want you to buy this fall, that will be a sexy thigh-high boot. Every designer has a pair, and demure they are not. Prada makes country waders a bit more chic, while Rodarte goes for an otherworldly look in wrapped taupe leather. Isabel Marant’s boots are simple and cool, in black suede — the perfect pair to wear with anything.
The third would be these shiny, sparkly minidresses. The eighties revival isn’t complete without these shiny, sparkly minidresses. Balmain’s over-the-top version came in electric blue, while Nina Ricci kept it on the delicate side. Versace went back to its roots: bright mermaids. Cue “Gloria” on your iPods and relive a dancing decade. We’re loving DVF at beautcall. She really gets what women are after: intelligence and empowered sexuality. I am definitely for the mini dresses this fall. Actually this new designer S.LOVE that makes great dresses for the Fall.

Marc Jacobs’s New Back-to-School Capsule Collection
Posted on June 22nd, 2009 No comments
It is reported recently that Marc Jacobs has designed a back-to-school capsule collection for young girls. The collection is called “Don’t Miss the Marc.” And everything is under $200 and the collection is colorful and kitschy with floral, graphic and animal prints on leggings, denim skirts, tees and scarves.
The line consists of stretchy denim jeans (a cute “M” embellishes the back pockets), little denim skirts in gray and blue, soft jersey blazers in red and black, and an assortment of leggings, scarves, and T-shirts in an array of adorable prints. Our favorite is the Wildflower print, an animal motif that comes in a classic brown leopard and a bright, cheery purple that looks great covering a tee.
We all love the Marc Jacobs very much, not only because he’s a fashion genius with a tongue-in-cheek approach and penchant for retro when it comes to designing his Marc by Marc Jacobs line, but because he understands that we all have to check price tags in these special times. The limited edition collection will be available in stores and online starting August 1, just in time to plan what to wear on the first day of school.

Louis Vuitton Alligator Officers Jacket
Posted on June 18th, 2009 1 comment
The Louis Vuitton Alligator Officers Jacket comes from the Autumn / Winter 2009/10 mens collection showed in Paris, it is designed by the famous designer Paul Helbers with the meaning of “the traveling wardrobe of an African king.” Despite the high recession, this year the European fashuon houses didn’t stop outdoing with each other with one incredibly decadent item of men’s clothing. We’ve seen Salvatore Ferragamo’s $250,000 crocodile trench coat and Hermès’ $150,000 crocodile pea coat; now here is the alligator officer’s jacket.
Recession or no, Helbers didn’t stint on suitably luxurious offerings, including pieces in antelope leather and even a mink coat shaved into Vuittons signature Damier check. Our favorite item by far however was this ultra-luxe officer’s tunic-style jacket finished in top-grade tan alligator skin with antiqued gold buttons and epaulettes. The jacket has not been priced yet is expected to sell for somewhere in the $50,000 - $75,000 range, and will probably only be available by special order. Acutally, I don’t like it, maybe it is excellent as an art work, but not ecomonic!

Will Watches Go Out Of Fashion?
Posted on June 17th, 2009 No commentsNot long ago, the natioal TV takes us have an over view of the watch markets. Through a series of interview, it seems that watches is dropping from our life step by step. Most people, especially the young, they don’t think watch is essential in today’s world, we have so many electric products, why we choose watch? When we think about watches, we usually imagine simple and old fashioned ones.
I can’t agree with this opinion, the modern watch which the old-fashioned timepiece has evolved to is not just a useful mechanism, but also a necessary accessory in every fashion-conscious person’s wardrobe. People buy watches not only for their use, but also for their looks. Watch is very important in defining ones style. No fancy suit or dress can be complete without a trendy watch. If you’re seeking attention, a funky timepiece will be more than enough to achieve your goal. Nothing will look better on your wrist than a colorful strap with a watch face. When you want to make an impression of an interesting or mysterious person choose an original, interesting and at the same time a rather usual timepiece, which will serve as jewelry that will add some mystery and charm to you. For business-casual style wear, a modern and minimalistic timepiece will be an accessory that will fulfill your style completely.
Of course, the timepieces suppliers should always clear one point timepieces should be designed accordingly to the latest fashions of shoes, clothes, bags and even cars, but, of course, they create fashion by themselves too. Then they can create more promoting space for themselves.

Men’s Sandals in Trends
Posted on June 16th, 2009 No commentsMay be there are still some people think men are disinterested in shopping as they don’t want to waste time on such things. They would like to make quick designs. This was a great way for sellers to use their quick decision behavior and catch their attention to buy men’s sandals. But, something changed. As I known, the 80’s young guys are spending more time in stores than their olders. They want to pick what is best for them. They used to ask for most practical sandals, but now they seek for men’s sandals that will improve their appearance. Since now is the perfect time to wear sandals, there are more men looking for one pair that will caught their attention.
Thong sandals are the latest trend since they are easy to wear and provide comfort to the feet. They are a bit more safer then slip ons since they are harder to drop of the feet. The thong is really helpful and keeps the sandals in the right place. The slip on sandals made their way up front because of their simplicity and comfortability. There is no need to think about them even for the slightest second - just slip them on and go for a walk. You got plenty of air and you don’t have anything bothering you, like laces or straps. The best mens sandals for relaxation.
